He’s my very first grandson after three granddaughter’s he was such a nice surprise, my son is over the moon with happiness ! His sister Alex is so happy to have a sibling now, of course she wanted a sister but she got this sweet little angel instead and she’s happy, she will make a great big sister!

Aren’t babies so precious?

This is what Grammy bought him, his first “boy” toy, you pull his tail and he plays music! Bought him at Target!

Speaking of Target, I was there Sunday evening and I had noticed a woman with two children with her and in another aisle of the store she said “ Are you Rondell?” I said “yes” but I knew I didn’t know her, she said “I’m Dortha and I read your blog and love it!” It’s one of my favorites.”You could have knocked me over with feather, I was surprised and thrilled to finally meet someone who reads my blog, so a big HI to you Dortha, you sure made my day, a new grandson and meeting a nice lady who enjoys my blog, thanks Dortha it couldn’t have been any better!

Congratulations on your first grandson! He is a beautiful baby, that's for sure.

You know, I used to think all the fuss over having a boy was horrible...and quite sexist. However, now that I'm studying my genealogy, I see the importance of having a son to perpetuate the name. Also, it's much easier trying to trace a one surname male line back through the generations than it is to try to track down maiden names of each mother in the line.

And how cool that you would have met a blog reader you had never met before AND that she would have recognized you. After all, we don't always look like our photos! You, however, must.

Again, rejoicing with you.

Hugs,
Patti

Oh, how precious! Congratulations, Gramma! We have one grandson (almost 10) & five granddaughters. Girls "rule" around here, or so we think! Our 3 yr. old granddaughter & our SIL both have Aug. 28th B-days!

Love your Fall decor, most especially that Rite Aid rooster -- so adorable. I don't think we have any of those stores around here any more.

Keep on enjoying that sweet baby boy -- like I would have to tell you that.....lol!

So cute! He really is adorable! I know you must be thrilled to pieces. That is so neat to have "a fan" introduce herself to you. LOL! I see people in the store all the time and think they look like people I blog with but never say anything to them because most of my blog friends live in other states and I know it's not them. That was so sweet of her to introduce herself. Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments too. It's always nice to hear from you! Congrats again to you! :))
